Why We Created This Event

Built by Groomers, for Groomers

The Mountain West Grooming Series was born from one goal—help passionate pet professionals grow their skills, sharpen their craft, and stay at the top of their game.

The best groomers never stop learning. That’s why this event exists.

From the start, I was obsessed with grooming—not just the cuts and styles, but the transformation that happens when a dog walks in scruffy and leaves looking their best. That spark of confidence, that bounce in their step—it’s why I fell in love with this work. I spent years perfecting my technique, attending every class I could, and learning from every mistake. And the more I learned, the more I realized how many groomers out there feel stuck—not because they lack passion, but because they lack access to real, hands-on education that moves the needle.

I tried every path—online tutorials, scattered workshops—but nothing truly leveled me up until I found the right kind of guidance. That’s when it clicked: our industry needed a space where groomers could gather, learn directly from the best, and walk away with practical skills they could apply the very next day. So I built that space.

The Mountain West Grooming Series isn’t a flashy expo or another dry seminar. It’s a curated experience designed by a groomer, for groomers. A place where passion meets precision. Where you get to step out of your daily routine, sharpen your craft, and return to the table with renewed confidence.

Today, I run a busy grooming salon, lead a team, and still make time to learn, because this craft never stands still—and neither should we. This event is part of a bigger mission: to raise the bar in our industry, support each other’s growth, and celebrate the art of grooming.

If you’re passionate about dogs, serious about your skills, and ready to grow, you belong here.

Stronger Techniques, Right Away

I picked up tips I started using the very next day. My clients noticed the difference—and so did I.

Learning That Sticks. This wasn’t just watching someone groom—it was hands-on and practical. I left with real skills I could apply immediately.

Kristin Watson

Next-Level Education. I’ve been grooming for years, but this event still gave me techniques I had never seen before. Totally worth it.
